Discussing Self Worth with Michelle Poler
In this video, we talk about how to tackle that inner bully that can be referred to as "the voice". Negative self talk is something that we all struggle with and learning how to separate ourselves from it takes practice.
As an extension of this interview, I also wrote a letter to my younger self, this is part of a series that Michelle did with several woman. You can listen and watch the animation to my letter HERE. What would you tell your younger self if you knew what you know today?
Lastly, I wrote this piece about what would people think of me if they knew I went to rehab? Choosing to get help was one of the scariest things I have had to do but leaning into the fear vs avoiding it gave me my life back.

Maria Alcoke is the founder of The Engine Mom Podcast which is a show designed to build community through story-telling and to inspire other women (especially Moms) to set goals for themselves and think outside the box when it comes to their lifestyle and work. During my interview with her, we spoke about a bit of my experience with my eating disorder, making time to work while raising two kiddos, how to accept yourself by detaching from the ego and why having a vision for your life is very important. I had a great time being a guest on this show!
Discussing Drinking Habits with Paul Churchill from Recovery Elevator
In 2017, I decided to pursue sobriety. It all stemmed from the fact that I started to notice that I was creating rules around alcohol and noticing that my eating disorder was being triggered when I was drinking. I am technically a "high bottom" drunk and in this interview with Paul, I chat about my decision to not drink. Out of all of the podcast interviews I have participated in, this has been the one that was way outside of my comfort zone.
Paul started the RE Podcast when he started his own journey to sobriety and he interviews people weekly and discusses why the decided to stop drinking. Paul helps hundreds of people to continue their sobriety journey!
Mish and I met a while back when I first pursued coaching. Her and I both have shared struggles when it comes with food and a dysfunctional relationship with our bodies. She invited me onto her podcast to share my journey, unfiltered. I talk about my struggles and what it took for me to get on the path of recovery. This interview is raw and real, it’s taken a while for me to feel prepared enough to share about my eating disorder so openly as I do on this podcast.
