This past weekend I attended my first coach retreat (all paid for!). I was so excited for this weekend to happen and although it went by quickly, I enjoyed every minute of it!
I had not met any of the coaches who attended our retreat in person. I have worked with most of them for almost one full year but everything had been virtual since the team has coaches from all over the country. This retreat was sponsored by my coach, Jenna. She treated some of her team leaders to a super fun weekend in San Diego.
We stayed at a house close to Mission Bay and stocked the fridge with goodies from Whole Foods for our mornings.
On Friday evening, I hosted a Mexican Taquiza de Cazuela for all of us! It was super tasty!
We also had some margaritas (virgin ones for both my coach and I since we're both expecting!).
The neatest thing was to get to spend some quality time with these special ladies. Coaching has allowed me to meet new and inspiring friends, to become part of an uplifting community that allows me to grow, and to be myself. It was super comforting to see that even though we all didn't know each other in person, the bond that we have created through coaching is in fact real and strong.
We ate out at delicious restaurants, worked out together, shared laughs and wrapped up the weekend with a photoshoot by the beach. It was sad to say goodbye but I am excited to see most of them again in a couple of months when we head to Nashville for our first coach summit!
I'm still on cloud 9 and I can't believe this is my full time job now! I feel so very thankful for this opportunity. I am hosting my own team retreat with my team leaders later in the year and I am already excited to start planning it! If you'd like more info about coaching, email me at email@example.com. I am looking for a couple of more ladies who want to join our team!
